World tiers — your RST balance is your passport
| Tier | RST earned | World access |
|---|---|---|
| Tier 0 | 0 – 999 | Misthalin only — extremely hardcore |
| Tier 1 | 1,000 – 9,999 | + Asgarnia & the Wilderness |
| Tier 2 | 10,000+ | The full world |
Tier 0 is deliberately brutal: Lumbridge, Varrock, the Barbarian Village mine, and not much else. Earning your first 1,000 RST inside that box is the server's rite of passage. When the gate opens to Asgarnia, the better bounties — and the Wilderness — open with it.
Difficulty modes
Chosen at character creation. Permanent. This is the biggest decision you'll make.
| Mode | RST multiplier | The deal |
|---|---|---|
| HARDCORE | 5× | For the fearless. Maximum earnings — but death drops you to Fallen. |
| NORMAL | 2× | Balanced challenge. |
| EASY | 1.5× | Chill & grind. |
| FALLEN | 1× | You died on Hardcore. The multiplier is gone; the lesson remains. |
Hardcore fine print
Hardcore's 5× multiplier also degrades with very long playtime (checkpoints around the 100, 200, and 300 hour marks) — it rewards bold, efficient play, not infinite AFK grinding. The 5× life is meant to be intense and finite. Die and you keep your character, your items, and your history — but you earn at 1× forever after.
Strategy notes
- 5× Hardcore through Tier 0 is the fastest possible start — if you don't die in a dungeon you had no business entering.
- Easy mode's 1.5× compounds fine for patient players who fish and never fight anything scarier than a lobster pot.
- Whatever you pick: the bounty table scales with your multiplier too. A Hardcore KBD kill is a very different payday than an Easy one.
