Quests

The classic 2004 quest list is here — plus new server-original quests like The Great Beyond. Grind them honestly, or buy the lamp. Both paths are intentional.

The philosophy: grind it or lamp it

Every quest on this server can be completed the old way: go talk to the NPCs, gather the items, fight the fights. It's all baked into the game — you just have to go play it for yourself.

But there's a second path: the Master's Lamp, sold at the RST Broker for 100 RST. Rub it and it completes quest requirements for you. Is that cheating? No — it's an economic choice. Someone who earned 100 RST grinding yews has done the work; spending it to skip a quest is just converting one kind of effort into another. The purist path and the rich path both exist on purpose.

(For the truly committed, the broker also stocks a Draconic Sigil Lamp at 10,000 RST. If you have to ask what it does, keep grinding.)

The Great Beyond (server original)

A new quest written for this world. It begins with the Beyond Sage — find them and start asking questions. Without spoiling it: the quest is about what this server is actually about, and the journal will keep track of your progress like any classic quest.

Classic quests

The 2004-era quest catalogue works as it did then — same scripts, same dialogue, same cabbage-related errands. Quest journals track progress in your quest list panel.

Quest rewards

Beyond the classic rewards (items, XP, access), quests interact with the server economy — some unlock areas and mechanics that make earning faster. The genie random event's XP lamps remain the classic XP shortcut, when you're lucky enough to meet one.
