V3 Update
May 7, 2026 — Resource Terminal
V3 is live on testnet. Player housing and farming are in the world. RST v15 ships a completely overhauled fee architecture. wRST is now tradeable on SushiSwap and swRST staking is live for ETH wallet holders. The economy spans two chains.

RST v15 — Native Fee Distribution

RST v15 overhauls how claims work. Previously the server needed three separate transactions to distribute a claim: one for the player, one for stakers, one to refuel the grant pool. v15 collapses all of that into a single claimWithVoucher call — the contract mints directly to the player, the staking contract, and the grant pool atomically.

sRST V9 — Auto-Reward Accounting

The Bitcoin staking contract now updates rewardPerShare automatically whenever RST is received. Previously, distributing staking rewards required a manual addRewards transaction from the server hot wallet. V9 eliminates that entirely — rewards flow the moment a claim lands.

ETH wRST on Ethereum — Three Trading Pools

Wrapped RST (wRST) is now live on Ethereum. Connect your ETH wallet on the play page and use the swap button directly — no need to leave the site. wRST is an ERC-20 backed 1:1 by RST on OPNet Bitcoin. Three pools are available to trade RST across chains.

ETH wallet holders can now stake their wRST for swRST — staked wrapped RST. Locking wRST grants a 2.5× in-game RST earn multiplier for the full 60-day duration.

Officer Rank — V3 Snapshot

Officer Rank will be awarded via a snapshot of qualifying V3 testnet participants. Officers receive a special in-game feature — details will be revealed at snapshot time. If you're active on testnet during V3, your wallet is being watched.

Player Housing — Cabin Live on Testnet

Players can now enter their own house via the portal in Rimmington. The Construction skill is the first fully player-owned content in Resource Terminal — your house exists in its own instance. The Cabin tier is live and playable on testnet. Small Farm, Large Farm, Small Castle, and Large Castle are in development and will unlock progressively.

Farming Skill — Herb Patches in the World

Three herb patches are now live across the world. Plant seeds, water them, come back to harvest. Each patch cycles through 4 growth stages, approximately 10 minutes each (40 minutes total). Harvested herbs feed into Herblore for potions — a new GP loop entirely separate from woodcutting and mining.

Pickpocketing — Thieving is Live

Thieving is now live in Lumbridge. Pickpocket men and women for GP, which banks automatically at Satoshi in the town square. A new earn path for players who want variety beyond the axe.


🚧 Mainnet Preview — Dragon Slayer

The following is not live yet. It activates at mainnet — tied to a community-wide milestone.

Dragon Slayer will not unlock until the community has collectively mined 100,000,000 RST across all players. This is a shared threshold — every log chopped, every resource sold, and every claim made counts toward it. When the counter hits 100M, the quest unlocks for everyone.

Players who want to get ahead can start the quest early on mainnet day. Completing the opening steps grants the Dragon Shield — on-chain proof that you were there before the world was ready. The full quest and dragon combat won't be available until the 100M milestone is reached, but the shield is earnable from day one.

Dragon Spawn System

Four dragon spawn locations exist across the world. Spawns rotate on an 8-hour cycle, with a maximum of 2 active at any time. When dragons are up, the server broadcasts the active locations to all online players.

4 locations, 2 active at a time, 8-hour rotation. Only available after the 100M RST community milestone.

Supply Trajectory
Claim pools are fixed at deploy. As players earn, they shrink. The 1% burn applies to every RST transfer. Early players earn more (larger pool, lower price). Later players earn less per GP but at higher market price. Emissions naturally slow as pools decrease — mirroring Bitcoin's supply curve at the application layer.
